AMAZING TOUR COMPANY IN AZORES!! Azores Dream Tours are an amazing company that offers different tours in Sao Miguel. My travel buddy and I booked a tour with another company before shopping around. A few hours after booking, we noticed a pamphlet at our hostel of this company. This company offered the exact same tours at half the price of the others!!! We were able to cancel the expensive tour (thank god) and book with this tour. The guide, Joan, was AMAZING. It felt more like travelling with friends than being in a tour (because personally, I dont usually go for tours because I like doing my own thing). However, Joan was very flexible and we stopped anytime I wanted to take a picture. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!

Perfect 2.5 Days Guided Tours My experience with Azores Dream Tours was nothing less than perfect, and couldn’t have been any better. I took up 3 tours with this company (0.5 day Seven Cities lake, 1 full day Fire Lake and Furnas hot springs tour, and 1 full day Nordeste tour), and was able to enjoy pretty much everything I’ve wanted without any hiccup or trouble.

I was accompanied by Rui for all the tours and he was very central to why it made the these days very enjoyable for me. He’s a careful driver who’s extremely familiar with the roads in São Miguel, and that made me feel very safe. He also made sure to bring me to all the popular viewpoints AND some lesser known ones along the way only locals like himself knows and it was very appreciated! I managed to snap many, many beautiful photos throughout the tours. And whenever we stopped at viewpoints and attractions, I was never rushed so I had all the time to take pictures until I’m satisfied. Really appreciated this!

All in all, if you’re considering a tour of São Miguel, look no further! Azores dreams is the company to go for! I found this company on TripAdvisor here as well, decided to go with them due to their positive reviews from prior customers and had no regrets! I will happily do another tour with them again when I get another chance to visit the beautiful São Miguel Island again in the near future!

Exploring Sao Miguel with a local – priceless Choosing Azores Dream Tours for exploring Sao Miguel was the best choice we could have made.

At first we planned to book only a full day trip to Nordeste, and rent a car for the next 3 days, but Joao was such a great guide (as a matter of fact we felt more like that we are wondering around with a friend) that we got stuck with him for the rest of our stay at Sao Miguel 🙂

On three full day and one half they tours he took us to all the famous and (more importantly) to the hidden gems of the island, he never complained to stop for a photo or refreshment, and we learned so much from him. About the history, nature, legends and the way of life at this paradise island. And of course of the food 🙂

Joao made our stay at Sao Miguel a perfect experience and we would definitely recommend Azores Dream Tours to every first time traveller to Azores.

Spent 2 full days with John and it was like touring with a good friend! Relaxed conversation, and he took us to see amazing sights! He knew great places to stop for coffee, food, and traditional Azorean cupcakes.
Not only was our tour amazing, he also gave us plenty of tips for our upcoming trip to France!
Definitely recommend this tour company if you are ever in Sao Miguel, Azores!
