Smelly but worth it! Fantastic day out at Furnas. Went to the hot springs, bubbling water, and mud, the smell was like rotten eggs, but you soon forget it when you've been there for a while. It was great to see the restaurante owners coming to uncover their meat and vegetable stews that had been cooking underground, and afterwards we went to a restaurante and ate the stew. An excellent day out with Azores Dream Tours. Also included going to a tea plantation, which i didn't realise they grew in the Azores. Delicious! Highly recommend the tour. Mas que grande excursão! Pelas 9h da manhã rumamos às Furnas, acompanhados pelo fantástico guia João que nos deu a conhecer o chá Porto Seguro e as magnificas vistas que rodeiam a fábrica. A visita à Lagoa das Furnas com degustação do maravilhoso cozido, transformou se numa grande experiência para nós. Adoramos a simpatia, boa disposição e amabilidade do guia João que nos foi contando a história de todos os locais e as curiosidades da ilha. Excelente anfitrião, sempre prestável e disponível. Já guardei o contacto para a minha próxima visita a Sao Miguel. Recomendo!

Everything We Could Have Wished For Having thoroughly enjoyed our full-day experience with Azores Dream Tours 2 weeks before, we booked this additional tour to see the highlights of the other half of São Miguel. Truly amazing experience What a great day we had! João knows every inch of the island and made us experience as much as possible. You can ask anything and he probably has the answer! We loved spending the day like this and we really did a lot, so this is a really great recommendation if you want to see a lot and learn a lot about the island! A day very well spent and we definitely want to come back :)

San Miguel with the one and only one - Azores Dream Tours This was the most amazing vacation thanks to Azores Dream Tours. It started with the Gastronomic tour on our first night in San Miguel and was followed by 4 most enjoyable, educational, fulfilling and very active days that included tours in Furnas, Nordeste, Fire Lake & Twin Lakes. John and Miguel were flexible and were willing to adjust the plan according to the weather. They took care of everything and did an excellent job. Óptima Tour! O meu guia foi o João e foi sem dúvida um dia em cheio! Além da simpatia, hospitalidade e sociabilidade, houve uma facilidade enorme em escolher o trajecto. Fiz a Tour Sete Cidades e Lagoa do Fogo, prefiro as paisagens e os passeios naturais e foi exactamente isso que fizemos, fomos a todos os pontos, parei em todo o lado que quis e tirei todas as fotos que desejei. Almoçamos num restaurante típico com comida regional deliciosa. Fiquei a conhecer os pontos que tinha maior interesse e numa companhia fantástica. Sem dúvida algo a repetir!
